So your session will be completely catered for you. We will have a consultation with you so that we can get to know you and find out how you want your images to be. It's really important to us that you are comfortable with how you want your images to be posed and styled.
When you book you'll be sent our Boudoir guide and on the day of your session you'll be welcomed to Alicia's home studio, we'll have a cup of tea waiting for you and then we can have a chat about your photos. We'll plan your wardrobe with you and then you'll go into makeup where your makeup artist will go through with you the looks that you want to achieve. Don't worry if you haven't got a clue, we will help you every step of the way.
You'll be in makeup for approximately 1.5 -2hrs and then you'll be ready to shine!
I am a bit of a perfectionist so bear with me, but I will fully co-ordinate and direct your shoot so you don't need to worry, I will pose you, direct you every step of the way and we'll shoot until it's perfected.
Once we're done you'll be able to get dressed and have a quick review and chat before you leave and by that point you'll be walking on air, I promise!!
FAQ's
How long will my makeover take? Our team of Make-up artists consist of Tracey Bradbeer and Camilla Jungman, but it depends on the day which makeup artist you will have. We allow 1.5-2 hours for your Make-Over.
Will my photographer be female? Yes, Alicia is the only photographer at Boudoir Elegance.
Do I have any input in the types of poses I want? We will have a consultation before your shoot and you can let us know your favourite photos.
Can I bring my friend? You are more than welcome to bring a friend.
Can I change the date of my booking and is my deposit transferable? Yes, if you re-book within 1 months. But if you cancel or don't turn up your deposit is non-refundable.
Do I need to bring my own outfits? Not at all, we have some fabulous corsets, stockings etc you’ll need to bring your own black and white knickers though and If you’d rather bring your own outfits and shoes that's fine.
I’m very shy and not sure I’m brave enough for a Boudoir Photo shoot? It's quite normal to be shy but we promise your nerves will soon be gone and you'll forget your nerves and have an amazing experience.
I’m not sure I want my images to go online? We never share images on line without our clients and models consent, its absolutely fine if you’d rather keep them private.
Should I get a spray tan? No! Please don't. It does not improve the quality of your images and believe it or not your images will be much better without it, trust me.
I want to do it, but I need to lose a few pounds, what size do you recommend? I hear this a lot, but it doesn't matter..really!! no matter what size you are we can create amazing images of you, that's just what we do.
Can you get rid of my scars? Yes, any unwanted marks, tattoos and scars will be edited in post production. We will discuss this in your consultation.
How long do the shoots take? A Boudoir 2 shoot will take approx 3 hours from the start of the Make-Over until you leave.
What should I bring? It depends on your chosen package, but bring with you any lingerie or shoes you wish to wear and black and white knickers too.
Can I pay off my balance in instalments? Yes, your full balance will be due on the day of your session.
Can I pay by credit card? Yes we accept all major credit cards.
